Reading is sexy.
I’ve definitely fallen waaaaaay behind on the weekly update for my year-long book challenge, but thanks to Kindle and my recent sickness I have been reading quite a bit. While it has never been far from my heart, it’s nice to fall in love with literature all over again. A post will soon be written about who I’m reading!
Today my heart is heavy.
Why, I cannot say, but as the waking hours wear on I feel it ever so slowly sinking in my chest. Down in the depths where old memories go to rest, and the flicker of my broken heart echoes in unseen caverns, I feel there a swelling of sadness threatening to break free of it’s capture and drown me in all it’s fury. It taps gently at the door.
Every night this week I have dreamt of people loved and lost, each with it’s own terrifyingly vivid scene. I have become more in tune, in a sense, with the inner workings of myself and simultaneously drifted away. What’s going on with me? I’ve lost any motivation to succeed and frankly anything I’m currently involved in, which isn’t much. My bed is my only sanctuary, and there I want to bury my head and sleep forever. What a depressing notion, sleeping away a life that can be so beautiful and offer so much. But I feel hollow and empty, so without the lust to taste life in all it’s glory, I feel secluding myself from the world would be a gift in and of itself.
Why is it the muse only comes when it’s dark?

There is no ‘right’ body type. Weight looks different on different people, and it is ALL OKAY. Don’t compare yourself to other people’s bodies, learn to love the body you’re in NOW and what it can do NOW.
This is why when people give me their height and weight I’m just like, uhhhhh. Doesn’t matter. Everyone has different builds. Forget about the number and start looking in the mirror for results!

Kristen Blue is a 21 year old girl who was in an accident a few days ago. She was thrown from her moped and left with 2nd and 3rd degree burns across her thighs, abdomen, and pelvic region. There are areas which will require skin grafting. The medicial expenses are rapidly growing, even with her health insurance, and her family and friends would appreciate any donation, a letter, a card, anything, to aid Kristen on her difficult road to recovery.
She is a kind person who has raised a lot of money for her friends in need, and right now she needs our help.
